Influencia de las competencias directivas en el liderazgo educativo: un análisis cualitativo en centros de estudio de Ecuador, 2024

Resumen

El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la influencia de las competencias directivas en el liderazgo educativo y comprender las necesidades que emergen en los centros de estudio a partir de dichas competencias. Se aplicó un enfoque cualitativo con diseño no experimental, utilizando análisis comparativo sustentado en fuentes bibliográficas y documentales. El estudio se centró en cuatro dimensiones: conocimientos administrativos, liderazgo, habilidades comunicativas y valores éticos. Los resultados muestran que los directores requieren actitudes y competencias que les permitan resolver conflictos, fomentar la colaboración y trabajar en equipo, destacando la importancia de ejercer un liderazgo efectivo. Se evidenció que el modelo de gestión predominante es de carácter cooperativo e intrusivo; sin embargo, la supervisión y el acompañamiento son percibidos como mecanismos de control que limitan la autonomía y el desarrollo profesional. Estos hallazgos subrayan la necesidad de fortalecer las competencias directivas para consolidar un liderazgo educativo participativo y transformador.
