The Sociolinguistic Perspective in the Study of the Ways of Treatment in Santiago de Cuba

Abstract

The  work aims to  reflect on the  experience  in  the shaft power/solidarity that affects the use of the methods of treatment in an  urban community of  Santiago de  Cuba,  related to  socio economic  transformations  adopted  in the country  movement. The  methodology is based on  a qualitative approach  based on the collection of  information provided by  a sample of 18 residents  informants and  workers  in the study are  a  who have applied a  survey  that allowed  the formation  of linguistic  corpus proven  through scientific  observation and  triangulation  of data  with other  population centers  of Santiago de Cuba.  This shift  is linked to  the new concepts  of power  have emerged,  and they have to  do with the  socio  economic  status of the speaker.  His description,  use and meaning  are the  results expressed  here.
