The elderly in community social development activities

Attention to the aging of the population is one of the social
problems to which priority attention is offered. This research aims to
design a sociocultural strategy that enables the insertion of the elderly
in community social development activities that allows them to increase
their role in improving the quality of life of the elderly. The quantitative
and qualitative methodology was applied through the techniques
of the questionnaire, the in-depth interview and the participant observation and the documentary review, theoretical level methods such as the Historical-Logical, the Analysis-Synthesis, the Inductive- Deductive. The main results of the study carried out are contextualized in the community project Satisfactory Longevity in the Uvero popular council of the Guamá municipality, Santiago de Cuba province.
