The present testimony is a narration of the process for the preparation of the uniforms worn by the participants of the armed uprising of Santiago de Cuba on November 30, 1956, following Frank País García guidelines. The birth of the olive green uniform took place in the house of Enrique Gil de las Casas, converted into the Post Office, where the uniforms packages cut for the different points began to come out, where they were sewn together and where they had a significant participation several female members.
