Reading comprehension and the role of systematization in its development for the training process of professionals

Abstract

The teaching learning process of foreign languages and the reading skill as a part of it have been the object of study of many researchers. Nevertheless, there are still some limitations in the development of this skill in the university context. The present article explains the necessity of using tools for the improvement of this process to achieve the students independent and active attitude. The use of exercises has been suggested for this purpose as a way to develop reading comprehension in the formation of profesionals. The basics of foreing language teaching didactics have been taken into consideration, as well as the theoretical contribution related to the development of abilities and reading comprehensin in particular.
