Women as a social subject. A study from philosophy

Abstract

The role of women in contemporary society is unquestionable in different areas of social, economic, political and domestic life. In a patriarchal context, its role is about minimizing from different angles. With the aim of deepening the study of women as a social subject, using the materialist dialectical method, the analysis and synthesis for the analysis of the dimensions and the hermeneutic in the interpretation of the different sources consulted, three dimensions are proposed: ontological, axiological and cosmovisive ,based on the interrelation of pairs of categories, subject-subject, objectivity-meanings and economic base and superstructure, an aspect that constitutes the main result of this reflection. Despite the existence of important conceptual and methodological information, the approach to women as social subjects from the perspective of Marxist Philosophy is considered insufficient. The importance of relating women to the complexity of contemporary society is highlighted and the possibility of understanding them as a social subject from a philosophical dimension is defended. It is noted that women have had and have a significant presence in different social contexts, influenced by historically assigned roles. A detailed analysis from a philosophical abstraction allows us to raise valid considerations for this inquiry, highlighting the importance of philosophical dimensions in this approach.
