The Rural Theater, Expression of the Rural Culture in El Salao, Imías, Guantánamo Province

Abstract

The rural theater, expression of the rural culture in The Salao, Imías, intends to defend the reproduced practice of the daily life in the community for potenciar mechanisms toward the rural sociocultural development. Their practice finds it in the rural context as connection point among rural groups, providing the treatment to community difficulties. The 14 years of familiarización with cultural practice being worth us of the observation and their types, interviews, histories of life and sociological analysis lit results that potencian and they preserve their cultural label, among them: the institutional integration, the systematic dialogue with families of generations continuadoras, to stimulate the fond artists, creation of fixed spaces of sociocultural participation, etc. The study allows from the methodological focus to introduce the concepts rural theater, rural public, rural cultural practice among other, being of interest for cultural actors, investigators and inst itutions of the development of the rural culture in function of potenciar this expression.
