Jorge Castellanos: A Necessary Inclusion

Abstract

This article is a brief approach to the life and work of Jorge Castellanos, one of the three founders of the  Cuban Marxist Historiography at the early forties of the past century. Also, he was an important ideologue of the old Cuban Communist Party, till 1956.  In 1961 he went to exile in USA, where he died in 2011.  Our goal is to  make him known by  the Cuban readers of today.
