Abstract

Zaira Rodríguez had the merit of dedicating part of her intellectual production to the study and systematization of the problems of dialectical logic as a science, studies that in Cuba had not been developed up to that point in the framework of the Cuban Academy of the Eighties. The present work analyzes the historical-social circumstances in which Zaira Rodríguez develops her studies on dialectics and tries to assess the theoretical scope reached by the author at that time. The aim is to assess whether the conception of Rodríguez manages to grasp and develop the essence of the theoretical postulates of classical Marxism on dialectics or if these are only reproduced in her discourse, but developed in a different sense to that given by the classics. That is to say, to determine if its theoretical production manages to develop the classic Marxist conceptions on the dialectic in an epoch where the theoretical production was, in its majority, determined by the Soviet schematic.
