Taking into account that the extreme flexibility of behavior on the one hand and excessive coercion on the other permeate a scenario where subjects do not find an accurate handle for their behavior, it is essential to develop an integrative conception of moral regulation, highlighting its objective mechanisms. In this sense, this research work constitutes a contribution to clarify the guidelines for the regulatory exercise.
