Covid-19, an extraordinary situation

The country and its territories faced the common challenges in dealing with the impact caused by Covid-19 pandemy. Through a qualitative research the topic was addressed taking into account established categories and components of epidemiological risks at emergency situations that permitted to expose the Cuban experiences with outstanding results due to the willing policy of the Cuban government and organisms and the main role of the Public Health Ministry and its professionals that lead to implement preventive and control measures in facing the pandemy that although these measures are similar in other countries their affectivity depends on the fulfillment by the society and the governments vital roles.
