Abstract

Asela de los Santos, a prominent Santiago woman for her arduous revolutionary and pedagogical work, who knew Frank País García, describes him in a masterly synthesis, positioning him in a generation that was aware that the only solution the country had was the armed struggle . It refers to his qualities forged in childhood, the responsibilities assumed after his father's death, his approach to Martí, his vocation for teaching, his phlegmatic and dreamy character, his political vision and aspirations for the people of Cuba. Likewise, having had the possibility of living during the years of Revolution, he has been able to appreciate the importance of the figure of Frank for the new generations, as an inexhaustible source of education in values.
