Social value and cultural heritage in the context of the local development: the case of the Distric José Martí

Abstract

The present work has as objective to argue the necessity of the identification and knowledge of the social values around the cultural heritage, he takes as analysis unit the micros A and B of the District José Martí, as contribution to the local development from the cultural perspective. For the development of the same one methods were used like, the analysis and synthesis, the scientific observation and the interview. As a result you could verify that the social actors associate to the alone cultural heritage with the plastic arts and the architectural thing, without keeping in mind that the historical aspects, the feeling of ownership or identification, as well as the diverse ones practical cultural that they take place in the context of the social relationships and that they are legitimated with character identitario they constitute an in turn well social patrimonial.
