Injury prevention in sport and physical activity is a priority to ensure the health and performance of athletes and practitioners. The professional development of coaches and Physical Culture teachers emerges as a key factor for the effective implementation of prophylactic strategies. Objective: To systematize the theoretical-methodological foundations of a comprehensive professional development strategy for injury prevention, based on the principle of physioprophylaxis. Materials and Methods: A theoretical systematization study was conducted based on the documentary analysis of a scientific production (2015-2025) including articles, master's theses, and conference papers. Analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction methods were used to construct an integrative proposal. Results: Three fundamental axes were identified: 1) a historical diagnosis of the professional development needs of Karate-Do coaches, 2) the development and validation of a comprehensive physioprophylactic alternative for muscle injuries, and 3) the configuration of a pedagogical strategy for professional development with a systemic approach. A model articulating the educational, preventive, and rehabilitative dimensions is proposed. Discussion: The results align with current trends advocating for evidence-based continuing education and the integration of medical and pedagogical knowledge. Physioprophylaxis is consolidated as a cross-cutting principle that transcends high-performance sports into community and therapeutic contexts. Conclusions: The systematization carried out demonstrates the relevance of a professional development strategy that integrates physioprophylaxis as a central axis for injury prevention. This holistic approach contributes to the training of more competent professionals and the sustainability of physical-sporting practice in diverse contexts.
