Postgraduate Education in Social Work: Epistemological Challenges in the Educational Process and Structural Opportunities of Knowledge Society
Abstract
The text is the result of a critical reflection about doctoral formation in social work, which is considered one of the least benefited areas for the development of knowledge in secondary level. Specific reference is given to the Mexican context in which small groups of researchers are interested at present in postgraduate education and its development in Sinaloa Basic characteristics of this program stress gender and health, in contrast to other national programs whose inclinations favor professional identity, social policies and social management.
