The role of social actors from the communication spaces. Some reflections for the analysis of tourism development

Abstract

The communication relationships among tourism stakeholders affect the characteristics of the destination, its attributes, or indicators of social impact; as an expression of the social structure that composes a tourism system. Hence the study of the components involved in the development of the activity, through its communication mechanisms, as they are concretized in shaping them or effectiveness of its attributes, it is essential for the development of a tourist destination. Communication
spaces allow the social actors to coordinate actions, share common approaches looks or for the benefit of the tourism potential of the territory. These allow multiple actors whose interlocking institutional strategies and established relationships transcendent resources, attributes of the destinations; taking an active role in transforming and empowering them. Our work focuses its interest in analyzing the work  of social actors in the use of appropriate communication practices, from a sociological perspective; they can contribute to a more effective attributes or indicators of social impact in a tourist destination.
