Santiago of Cuba. A space of working sociability (1902-1925)

Abstract

The present research is introduced in the thematic one of the working associationism from the sociability, perspective of analysis that allows the study of the organizational culture of the workers, through the spaces created by them to take to effect their demands and vindications and to create dynamic own cradles in solidarity, the mutual aid and the value of the work. Also it constitutes a necessity because the historiography on the working subject has been centered in aspects like, wage improvements, actions of union leaders, among others, reason why many indicators that conform the universe of these workers weakly appear reflected. For that reason one sets out like objective: To analyze the working associations like spaces of sociability in the city of Santiago of Cuba during period 1902-1925.
