Presence of the African footprint in pictorial Lincoln Camué's work in 1960-2014's period

Abstract

This paper it´s focuses in the realization of a criticism of the historic chosen context where the artist and the multiple social, cultural and artistic influences that the African influence has had are unraveled in his life and works. In kind it is proposed examining the study of themes and more outstanding works of this period. Deduction and analysis implement methods related with the artistic image, like the observation, the induction themselves synthesis. The work offers unpublished knowledge about the artist of its creations and, which constitute the perfect pretext to express a sentiment of cultural regional identity, always softly the stylistic aegis of artistic black culture, its iconography, the presence of religious syncretism and the African footprint in Cuba.
