Cultural dynamics University, a current look

Abstract

In this paper the relevance of higher education is meant in the XXI Century in the face of the necessity of the transcendent transformations before the changes of the contemporary world, because the formative-cultural role played by the university in  the society can propitiate the humanity’s sustainable  development. The necessity to introduce deep changes in the  socio-cultural administration of the universities requires of an  own scientific and investigative speech, and a coherent practice in the improvement of the university processes in its social bond,  therefore it urges of an interpretation of the higher education  that propitiates its humanization, which has special significance  for the Latin American countries. It is intended to project a  university as a socio-cultural organization of a formative- professional nature, committed with society, sustained in the  construction of the scientific-professional knowledge; where the  formation of the professionals is meant to face the cultural  challenges of the current times, in its historical development, as  a cultural process inherent to the human being’s nature and its  human condition.
