Foundation of the social prevention competence in the professional training of Cuban leaders

Abstract

This work proposes the foundation of social prevention as professional competence to be trained not in higher education. For this purpose, a mixed research approach is used, using analytical-synthetic, historical-logical, inductive-deductive, observation and sequential transformative design (DITRAS) methods. It develops in the field of the professional training process of Cuban leaders who are pursuing a degree in Social Sciences at the University of the Party; As for the existence of limitations, there is no thought and preventive action in the implementation of social policies based on the practical activity of political leadership and identified as a problem. The result of the research is the foundation and description of the social prevention competence in the professional training of Cuban leadership
