Background of teaching Pharmacy in Eastern University

Abstract

Although Higher Education of Pharmacy in Santiago de Cuba has nearly three decades of existence, so far no study has been made to present the history of pharmacy career chronologically and systematically, so that the objective of this work was to characterize such records on the basis of the review and analysis of existing information in both state and private archives, stating the most relevant aspects of university education of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Santiago de Cuba to the inclusion of such studies in the Universidad de Oriente.
