Abstract

The present research aims at systematizing the results obtained from the Institutional Program of Links with the Society, “Health for the community”, developed by the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Bolivariano de Tecnología located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The program has been developed taking into consideration its humanistic conception and the attention it devotes to diversity. From this perspective permanently extends its services to the community, linking academia - research – community, thus spreading such services to the most vulnerable populations in the city of Guayaquil and its surrounding counties. The indicators evaluated allow demonstrating a successful evolution of the program, encouraging the improvement and expansion of services provided by our students and professional teachers in different fields.
