Abstract

This paper focuses on the linguistic description from the baptismal certificate of whites and black mans the XVII century, Santiago de Cuba. This work provides the linguistic study, the paleographic transcription and rescue of the documents. These results are inserted into the line “Documentary sources of Cuban Eastern Region and the Contribution to Rescue, Preservation and Promotion of Heritage”, VLIR Project “Social, humanities and architecture: Facing the Challenges of Local Development in Santiago de Cuba. The enhancement of Heritage preservation”.
