From myth to logo, an epistemological analysis of the definition of tradition

Abstract

The present work goes into the epistemological study of the definition of tradition, taking as a premise the conceptions of Fernando Ortiz, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, Álvaro de las Iglesias, among others. The objective is aimed at analyzing the revolutionary, labor and cultural traditions of our people in the construction of national identity. It is expected to contribute through this study to the consolidation of the idiosyncrasy of a people, the culture and the formation of values ​​of a country. The theoretical methods of scientific knowledge are used in the elucidation of the contributions made by these authors to the understanding of the subject from the philosophical field.
