Abstract

The present investigation understands a brief outline of the significance that had the Normal School for Teachers of East (ENMO) for the history of the pedagogy and the traditions of fight of the movement student santiaguero between 1916 and 1958. When taking place the centennial of foundation of this educational center, the study that occupies us embraces its history from the following edges: their architectural singularity; the contribution of the educational cloister in the multidisciplinary formation of a teacher of vanguard; the commitment of the students and professors of this facility with the revolutionary fight and, lastly, Frank País García'sprint inside the movement student between 1949-1953.
