Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to approach the Caribbean insights of the outstanding Jamaican economist and researcher Dr. Norman Girvan. The works of this author occupy an important place in the English speaking Caribbean, are an expression of the best of the non-tangible heritage and constitute a paradigm to have in mind at a time when we have to face today´s challenges in the design and construction of our America.. However, up until now, his works have not been sufficiently studied and spread.
