Abstract

This article is a direct contribution to the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language to solve problems of phonic character in the classroom. Having examined the concept of phonetic correction, investigated the impact of so-called foreign accent in the communication process and identified the main difficulties related to the pronunciation presented by the selected sample, educational activities aimed to contribute to the teaching of pronunciation in non-Spanish speaking students. These activities are inspired by the method of hearing−imitation, which is a valid strategy correction as the students are able to compare their productions with a model (in this case, the teacher) and after this operation, try to correct their mistakes.
