La escritura femenina en El Redactor (1844-1869)

Abstract

In this work is carried out a rescue study, valuation and analysis of works written by women in the newspaper El Redactor. The texts are examined written in prose from the methodological point of view and the modern gender study. This process of analysis and rescue had a lot of importance, because the works were in risk to disappear. The studied authors are not very well-known inside of our literary history. They appear next to others of a bigger literary dimension as Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda and Luisa Pérez de Zambrana. The study contributes to the literary reconstruction of the century XIXin Santiago de Cuba through the gathered texts that will be useful to other investigators of the archaeology in the regional feminine literature.
