The High Nursing Technologist’s Profesional Competence and Health Promotion at Ecuador. Notes for a Debate

Abstract

The promotion and health prevention are keystones in the primary health care (PHC), this being the first contact between the community and the NHS. The APS is a systematic process of comprehensive health care activities with holistic approach, which allows the maximum level of individual and collective health with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention, curative biologist delimiting approach as a holistic process. The article describes the experience of the Bolivarian Superior Technological Institute of Technology (ITB) in training senior technicians in nursing under the given budget.
