The economic financial culture in the Ecuadorian context: some ideas for its formation

Abstract

The challenges that today the Ecuadorian society faces, demand the elevation of the quality in the formation of highly qualified professionals in the area of Economy and entrepreneurship, which may contribute in the finding of solutions as signals of changes and thus become the nucleus in the transformations that the country needs. This article has as main goal to reveal some ideas about the cultural financial formation of the technologist in Higher Education, which is supported in the curricular content of Financial Economy and in the determination of the formative intention in the entrepreneur context, from the perspective of the unity between school- enterprises. During this research some theoretical and empirical methods were used, which allowed to verify the insufficiencies within the process of formation of the financial economic culture in the technicians – to-be.
