Abstract

Educational management, its dimensions, actors and community need a process that guarantees the fulfillment of the educational policy of the institution and the objectives and goals proposed, this is an idea that permeates the content of the article. A description of the challenges faced by institutions of higher education at present is made. Making a distinction between the concept of educational administration and management to avoid their identification is part of what is addressed; The management process is seen as a component of management; This is an idea that serves as support for the article. The article is based on the experience of the Center for Upper Studies of the Rosary and some lines of improvement of its management are outlined.
