Abstract

Suicidal behavior is one of the social problems that most affect the stage of adolescence today. In spite of the investigations carried out for its prevention, there are still inadequacies from an intersectoral approach, which allows for an integrated, educational, clinical, family and community care in those students prone to suicide attempts. The author of the work was aimed at the instrumentation of a psycho-socio-educational methodology, for the prevention of this scourge in a teenager with presuicidal manifestations in the behavior of pre-university education. The work methodology was based on a case study, made possible by the preventive-interventive-interdisciplinary care method. The results were rated as excellent by allowing the transformation of psychosocial vulnerability factors into socioeducational protection factors, achieving adequate resilience, sense of life and high self-esteem in the case understudy.
