Abstract

The work that is presented is a diagnostic proposal as a fundamental tool of the teacher to characterize the Citizen Formation of their students. The objective is to design a Diagnosis on Citizen Education in Medicine students of the Enrique Cabrera Faculty, with a view to designing a participatory strategy to transform the current state. Methods: The proposal is conceived of two Dimensions, with their respective Indicators and the Measurement Criterion that allow determining the Levels of Citizen Training of the Medicine students, in addition, the respective diagnostic instruments are described. Outcomes: It is one of the few models to diagnose Citizen Training in Medical Education, it is not based on cognitive aspects like the traditional ones but on the affective - experiential, it serves for deeper studies of the student body and contributes to improving teaching. It is not an optimal model, it is flexible, dynamic and adaptable to the particular conditions of each Faculty of Medical Sciences.
