Dialogue: enabler of citizen training university students from the social and political dimension. A University experience East

Abstract

In the present paper is emphasized the role that develops the civic dialogue among generations in the civic formation of the university students from the sociopolitical dimension and José Martí ‘s ideas that constitute essential referent for the understanding of this process are exposed. The condition of active manager of sociotransforming alternatives that distinguish the student of the higher education in their performance as citizens is specified. The paper bases the proposal of a method for the civic formation sustained in the problematization of the university student’s sociopolitical activism which has been corroborated in the educative practice at Universidad de Oriente.
