Abstract

Pursued education changes in Ecuador today requires a new kind of school, turned into the most important cultural center of the community, opened and interactive with, promoting the active participation of its members in their management and combine work with different routes and procedures. In this sense, it is essential that the management of educational institutions ensures that is flexible, highly responsive and prepared to organize and run their own educational projects that responds to the needs of society and the diversity of the academic community. However, when still technical and technological colleges in Ecuador have devoted countless efforts and resources to the training of highly qualified professionals and have interacted with the different production areas of economic and social development of the country, is not reached a direct relationship of these results with the social function of technical and technologist professionals. The article reflects on educational management based on the formation of professional skills in the ITB (Bolivarian Superior Technical Institute) in Ecuador.
